Neal Flesner serves as a Change Consultant and Strategic Marketing Director for the firm. He is a proficient problem solver and communicator who excels in the development of management principles, practices and methodologies. Neal's expertise and knowledge allows him to successfully manage projects from concept through planning, implementation, and review. He has over a decade of experience in the leadership and management of high performance teams within small and large organizations. This essential experience helps him to ensure proper communication and teamwork among project stakeholders. Neal is consistently recognized for his ability to employ critical and creative thinking processes to facilitate profitable business decisions.
In accordance with the Caltrans Partnering Specifications, Neal has designed and facilitates VCG's Caltrans' Partnering Skills Development Training. While focusing on the core teachings of the trainings, VCG brings their Good to World Class approach to project teamwork to the training. Neal has been designated by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Associate. The LEED® Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. As a LEED® Green Associate, Neal has gained knowledge of green design and construction to be able to assist project teams in achieving their LEED® rating.
In addition to being a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Neal is also active with the Associated General Contractors of America, The Southern California Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America and The International Partnering Institute.
Neal has worked and consulted for many global companies which include: Anheuser-Busch, The Coca-Cola Company, Bank of America, Pepsi Co., GMAC Financial Services, Sara Lee Foods, Toyota, Adidas, ADT, Anschutz Entertainment Group, The Los Angeles Galaxy, The Los Angeles Kings and the United States Olympic Committee.
Neal received his MBA from the Charles Lundquist School of Business at the University of Oregon, where he served as the Director of Communications for the MBAA. In addition, Neal graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. from the University of Missouri and was awarded the Evans Scholarship by the Western Golf Association.
Neal lives with his beautiful wife Carmen and their dogs Mia & Willow in Venice, California. He is an avid sports fan who enjoys running marathons, mountain biking, SCUBA and traveling.
