Jim Eisenhart - Professional Profile
Jim Eisenhart has been a management consultant since 1974 and he is currently president of the Ventura Consulting Group in Ventura, California and Houston, Texas. A key specialty of the group’s focus is on ‘partnering’. More specifically, enabling project, contract and intra-organizational teams to achieve and sustain nothing less than ‘world class’ collaboration and results.
As a facilitator, Jim views his role as that of enabling clients to achieve extraordinary results that they define, commit to, and are passionate about. Likewise, he takes them beyond goal setting and to developing an action plan grounded in teamwork and very specific personal commitments to action that achieves that future with velocity. He then works with his clients over the duration of the project to sustain improved performance.
His clients include: Amgen; the City and County of
Los Angeles, Dept of Defense (Army, Navy, Air Force); Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA; Stanford University; Genentech; University of California system (8 campuses); Caltrans (over 80 projects); and, Kaiser Permanente.
He has personally 'partnered over 800 projects and contracts' internationally.
In the past three years Jim has presented at the AIA, CMAA and AGC National Conventions on the topic of “From Good to World Class; Raising the Bar on Project Teamwork”.
Jim received his MBA from UCLA. He subsequently worked with the UCLA Anderson School of Management as an Executive Education Program Coordinator. He has taught with the MBA programs of Pepperdine University and Cal Lutheran University
on the subjects of “Organization Theory” and “Strategic Planning” respectively.
Mr. Eisenhart served in the US Army in Vietnam as a reconnaissance platoon leader. He currently enjoys long distance trail running, open ocean sailing,
skiing and free diving.
